Privacy policy
What glovrex.com collects, why, who receives it, and how to have it deleted.
Who is responsible
glovrex.com and the Glovrex software are run by Glovrex, operated by an individual in Japan (the “operator”, “we”). For the GDPR the operator is the controller. The operator's legal name, address and, where applicable, representative are provided without delay on request to mahirohirakawa@glovrex.com.
What we collect, and why
We collect as little as the site needs to run. There are no accounts, no forms and no advertising.

Cookies and third-party services
The site sets one first-party cookie, lang, only when you use the language switch, to remember your choice for a year. It sets no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Third-party services: this site sends data to one other service, for the page count above (Vercel). It loads no third-party scripts, embeds or advertising tags.
Who else receives it
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not provide it to third parties except to the service providers below, which process it on our behalf, or where the law requires.

Links to GitHub, dev.to, Zenodo, crates.io, npm and other services take you to those services, whose own policies apply there.
Data held outside Japan
Some data is processed in the United States. The United States has no single comprehensive federal privacy law; personal information there is protected by sector-specific federal laws and by state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission publishes information on foreign systems. The providers above handle data under their data-processing terms, which include security measures and confidentiality.
For people in the EU and EEA: Japan has an adequacy decision under the GDPR, and onward transfers to United States providers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How we protect it
- The data is kept to the minimum in the table above; the site holds no database of visitors.
- Only the operator can access the accounts that hold it, and all traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Providers are chosen with their security measures in view, and their storage countries are listed above.
Your rights
Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information you can ask us to disclose the data we hold about you, to correct, add to or delete it, to stop using it or providing it to third parties, and to disclose records of third-party provision.
Under the GDPR you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to a supervisory authority, such as the one where you live; in Japan, the Personal Information Protection Commission.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act: we do not sell or share personal information. You can ask what we hold and ask us to delete it.
To use any of these rights, email mahirohirakawa@glovrex.com. We may ask for enough information to confirm the request is yours. There is no charge, and we answer within one month.
What we do not do
- No selling or sharing of personal information, and no advertising.
- No profiling and no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
- No collection of sensitive personal information on purpose.
Do you have to give us anything
No. You can read the whole site without providing any personal information. If you want a reply, we need an email address to send it to.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the change is listed in the changelog. A material change is announced on this page before it takes effect.
